Bedrijfsprofiel: Our client is a consultancy, design and engineering company focused on innovative lifting and mission equipment in the marine and offshore industry. They have extensive experience in particularly major conceptual development including the provision of equipment and systems. Creativity, constructive customer relations, innovation, practicality and pragmatism play an important role. Werkzaamheden: As an Experienced Structural Calculator/ Engineer you are involved in the preliminary stages of larger projects in the heavy machinery and offshore industry. Examples include various applications for laying pipes on the seabed, modifications to heavy offshore cranes, grabs for deep sea applications and applications to install wind turbines and foundations. Its customers are located in the dredging industry, wind industry, heavy lifting and oil and gas industry. Depending on your background and experience you are responsible for the concept, design and redesign, performing FEM and motion analysis or engineering. You are possibly also involved in the implementation stage as an advisor in manufacturing, training and/ or commissioning. Functie-eisen - Completed education in Mechanical Engineering or similar on HTS/ University level;
- minimum of 4 years relevant work experience as Structural Calculator/ Engineer (FEM) in the industry of heavy machinery/ offshore/ dredging and/ or construction cranes;
- good proficiency Dutch (preferably native), English and German language;
- able to document in professional English;
- Experience in 3D drawing.
